Beech

Beech trees are deciduous and have year-round interest. They are often used in parks and acreages and golf courses. These trees are slow growing. They have shiny, dark green, oval or elliptical leaves. Beech leaves have prominent venation and are elliptical in shape with widely toothed margins. Depending on the variety the foliage of beech trees often turns golden and bronze to purple late in the season, providing a wonderful fall display.
