Aspen

This deciduous tree is found growing in the mountains at high elevations in rocky soil, as well as at lower elevations thriving in clay or sandy conditions. Aspen have a large geographical distribution in North America. These trees have rustling foliage, and beautiful bark, and often turn colors in the fall. They are fast-growing and prefer full sun.
